  1. Top review Jay. You get into the nitty gritty more than I can. I’m not the best critic I prefer to opt for centering things around my life experiences. #bloominghippy LOL
    As usual you have delved deeply into the subject and given a rounded and excellent to read article. Reminds me I must tick another Wise film off my list before the month ends!

    PS I’ve not seen The Magnificent Ambersons. to quote you “a film that was subjected to an infamous studio butchering” Is it any good?

    1. It is sort of good. You can tell that it was probably going to be great, and that it was made with great care and attention to detail. But it’s flawed because it was hacked about so much. It’s still worth a look though.
